Using powerful testimonies from people whose lives have been changed by St. Joseph of Nazareth, this documentary rediscovers the personality of this humble and secretive figure who is often overlooked by Christians today but who has the power to help millions across the world in many ways.
Director Andres Garrigo traveled to five continents to interview witnesses of authentic miracles attributed to the patron saint of all believers. He filmed people in Italy, the United States, Peru, France, the Philippines and Canada who had seen Saint Joseph perform incredible favors on their behalf.
The Story
The film begins with Cindy Campbell, a mother who has recently lost her husband George and her daughter Robbie. She is heartbroken and moves in with her brother-in-law Tom Ryan in New York City. When Tom’s friend Henry, who is a loon, accidentally kills the Japanese boy during Cindy’s boxing match, she becomes suspicious of him. Despite the Puppet’s attempts to keep her out of his way, she soon realizes that he is the father of her children and that he had kidnapped them when they were young.
Meanwhile, Tom is in Afghanistan, where he and the local interpreter Ahmed risk their own lives to rescue John from a dangerous mind field. He also finds himself unable to remember his son Cody after he was killed by an explosion.
While on his search for Robbie, Tom meets Brenda, a widow who is pregnant with her first child. She and Tom begin to fall in love with each other, but when he learns that her husband has a sexual relationship with Zoltar and his homosexual friend Mahalik, he loses interest in them. In Victory, an experimental company town in the 2250s, Alice and Jack have an idyllic life, but when they start to notice cracks in their paradise, they begin to suspect that something sinister is going on.
